Welcome, I am so glad you stopped by. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am a Southern artist and graphic designer.

I have a passion for art, and colors, inspired by the beauty of nature. I enjoy creating art in various styles leaning toward abstract. I first started my abstract art painting
just after college. I loved painting on old doors and wood. Later as my passion grew I moved to painting on canvas and cotton paper. I love seeing the process from a
quick spontaneous sketch to the final piece. Some of my art evolves quickly, and other pieces take hours or days. I enjoy the process of creating both. It brings a
sense of calm to my somewhat busy mind. I hope my art can bring you a sense of calm or peace as well.

Just after college, I started my career as a graphic designer and senior art director working with an award-winning design studio design in Atlanta, Georgia.

I currently own and operate Markley Design Group a graphic design studio. I have had the pleasure of working with wonderful clients in creating award-winning designs over the past 20 years. Today I am grateful to work both as an artist and graphic designer.
